Dean Powell is a well-known guest speaker, journalist, author, broadcaster and vocalist based in South Wales. His prolific workload varies from presenting high-profile engagements in some of the world's largest concert halls to publishing the latest of his popular history books while also making frequent guest appearances on both radio and television.

Dean is a Life Member of the Treorchy Male Choir and has toured the United States of America, Canada and Australia. He has twice undertaken month-long concert tours of Australia and also New Zealand where he took the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Arts Centre, Perth Concert Hall, Christchurch Town Hall and Brisbane's QPAC by storm. He joined a star studded line up including Andrea Bocelli, Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Cliff Richard at the Royal Variety Performance and presented concerts for the Morriston Orpheus Choir in Geneva, Switzerland.
